Hi there. I'm tawreh. I like cats and pretty things, so that's mostly what you'll find on this blog.

This blog is really meant to be a collection of arty stuff to inspire me to art, but I am in an endless rut of "how do u art", so I'm not sure how well this is working out for me.

Dan Fessler’s HD Index Painting Technique let’s you paint pixel art in Photoshop in a non-destructive manner, and lets you use pretty much every tool in a perfectly pixel-gradient fashion!

The article gives you everything you need to try it out for yourself. It’s easy to set up and use, and the results are so fucking cool.

So Throwback Thursday is something I’ve wanted to start doing for a while - so here goes!
I did this piece for my best friend in 2004. Oh ho ho I think it’s supposed to be a tiger (because those are her favourite animals!), and she chose the name. I seem to remember that I did this in a science lesson.
I wonder if she remembers this.
